My art combines traditional painting techniques, professional music background, architectural design techniques and experience, combined with modern digital elements, creating a unique and captivating experience.

When my younger daughter was six, she asked me to draw some cartoon characters. I knew I couldn’t, but then I did and they looked professional, to my surprise. Accidental discoveries are sometimes the best ones.

Years later, I shared these with a student of mine, who happened to be an artist who worked for Disney. He said that he would hire me immediately, if I wanted to go to work at DisneyWorld.

I confess that I have many decades of experience drawing houses and buildings, but those involved mechanical drawing tools and later CAD. It’s not the same as free hand drawing, but the “eye” is developed, nevertheless. I did take art classes in high school, majored in music in college, and professionally have worked in both architecture and music. I have a few books on Amazon. Music, novels, and more, but this is all about art here.

What brought about the recent “rebirth” of drawing? Pain. Many works were done while suffering severe arthritic pain. Fortunately, not in my hands, The pain comes and goes and by now, there are many works which were done with no pain.
